2 Agreement to Terms
By accessing, browsing, or placing an order on the Tech Wise Gadgets website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Returns & Warranty Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. We recommend printing or saving a copy of these terms for your records.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to enter into this agreement.
3 Products and Pricing
- All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). We are not currently VAT registered.
- We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. Minor variations may occur.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, once an order is confirmed, the price will not change.
- Product availability is subject to stock levels. We will notify you promptly if an item becomes unavailable.
- Promotional discounts and offers are time-limited and may be withdrawn at any time.
- In the unlikely event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order.
4 Order Process and Contract Formation
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:
- Your Order: When you place an order, this constitutes an offer to purchase.
- Order Acknowledgement: We will send an automatic email acknowledging receipt of your order. This is NOT acceptance.
- Contract Formation: A legally binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation email.
- Order Rejection: We reserve the right to reject any order for reasons including: stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or failed payment verification.
We will retain a record of your order and these terms. You may request a copy at any time.
5 Payment Terms
- Payment must be received in full before dispatch of goods.
- We accept payment via: Stripe (credit/debit cards), PayPal, and Bank Transfer.
- All payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology.
- Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal). Their terms of service also apply.
- We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- For Bank Transfers, orders are held until payment clears (typically 1-3 working days).
6 Delivery Terms
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. We aim to dispatch within 1-3 working days.
- Delivery options and costs are displayed at checkout based on order weight and destination.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery (when you or a nominated person takes physical possession).
- You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Re-delivery fees may apply for failed deliveries due to incorrect details.
- Signature may be required on delivery. If no one is available, the carrier will leave a calling card.
International Deliveries: Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices.
7 Your Cancellation Rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order:
- Before Dispatch: Contact us immediately at orders@techwisegadgets.co.uk
- After Delivery: You have 14 days from the day after delivery to notify us of cancellation (statutory cooling-off period)
- You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us

8 Returns and Refunds

Key points:
- 30-day change of mind returns (item must be unused, in original packaging)
- Refunds processed within 10 working days of receiving returned goods
- Faulty or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number
9 Data Sanitisation Notice
Important: When returning any device capable of storing data (laptops, tablets, phones, storage drives, etc.):
- You must back up all personal data before returning
- You must remove all accounts, passwords, and personal information
- You must disable any device locks, activation locks, or Find My Device features
Our Commitment: All returned devices undergo secure data sanitisation (secure wiping) at our facility before any further processing. This protects your privacy but does not replace your responsibility to remove personal data before return.
10 Warranties and Guarantees
Our warranty coverage is as follows:

Additionally, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described for up to 6 years from purchase (though proof of fault becomes your responsibility after 6 months).
11 Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Tech Wise Gadgets or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
Product names and brands are trademarks of their respective owners. Their use on this website does not imply endorsement.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.
12 Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded by law
Subject to the above, Tech Wise Gadgets shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunity
- Loss of data (you should maintain backups)
- Any losses exceeding the purchase price of the product in question
13 Website Use
- This website is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted access.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or modify the website without notice.
- You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation.
- Automated scraping, data harvesting, or similar activities are prohibited.
- We may suspend access if we suspect misuse or violation of these terms.
14 Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint:

- Response Time: We aim to respond within 2 working days and resolve issues within 14 days.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution: If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be entitled to use an EU-approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider.

15 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
16 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
