Tech Wise Gadgets is an independent specialist technology retailer operating in the United Kingdom.

By accessing, browsing, or placing an order on the Tech Wise Gadgets website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Returns & Warranty Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. We recommend printing or saving a copy of these terms for your records.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to enter into this agreement.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:

1. Your Order: When you place an order, this constitutes an offer to purchase.
2. Order Acknowledgement: We will send an automatic email acknowledging receipt of your order. This is NOT acceptance.
3. Contract Formation: A legally binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation email.
4. Order Rejection: We reserve the right to reject any order for reasons including: stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or failed payment verification.

We will retain a record of your order and these terms. You may request a copy at any time.

• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. We aim to dispatch within 1-3 working days.
• Delivery options and costs are displayed at checkout based on order weight and destination.
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery (when you or a nominated person takes physical possession).
• You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Re-delivery fees may apply for failed deliveries due to incorrect details.
• Signature may be required on delivery. If no one is available, the carrier will leave a calling card.

International Deliveries: Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order:

• Before Dispatch: Contact us immediately at orders@techwisegadgets.co.uk
• After Delivery: You have 14 days from the day after delivery to notify us of cancellation (statutory cooling-off period)
• You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us

• 30-day change of mind returns (item must be unused, in original packaging)
• Refunds processed within 10 working days of receiving returned goods
• Faulty or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
• Returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number

Important: When returning any device capable of storing data (laptops, tablets, phones, storage drives, etc.):

• You must back up all personal data before returning
• You must remove all accounts, passwords, and personal information
• You must disable any device locks, activation locks, or Find My Device features

Our Commitment: All returned devices undergo secure data sanitisation (secure wiping) at our facility before any further processing. This protects your privacy but does not replace your responsibility to remove personal data before return.

Additionally, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described for up to 6 years from purchase (though proof of fault becomes your responsibility after 6 months).

Product names and brands are trademarks of their respective owners. Their use on this website does not imply endorsement.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

Subject to the above, Tech Wise Gadgets shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunity
• Loss of data (you should maintain backups)
• Any losses exceeding the purchase price of the product in question

If you have a complaint:

1. Contact Us First: Email support@techwisegadgets.co.uk with your order number and details of your concern.
2. Response Time: We aim to respond within 2 working days and resolve issues within 14 days.
3. Alternative Dispute Resolution: If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be entitled to use an EU-approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
